Katrin Abel is an Administrative Assistant for the Austin Public Library and a Masters of Science in Information Studies candidate at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in May 2015.

Her areas of focus include Public Librarianship, Youth Services, and Library Outreach.

 

Katrin lives to ride a bicycle and is currently working with the Austin Public Library to develop apl unbound, a human-powered, sustainable mini-library on wheels.
